Dylan’s 8th Grade Graduation: June 6th, 2011. Congrats!
Here’s to Uncle Bill! One of the kindest and happiest characters in our family. His life had it’s share of troubles but he never let that deter him from offering a smile, a laugh and a warm hand shake. I wont forget him charming the ladies at Dad and RoJean’s housewarming party in Colorado. He had ‘em smiling and laughing for hours as he recounted stories from the old Union days. He will be missed by all.
Thanks to Rick via Cathy for the photos.

The Travel Jones is intended to be a fun, easy place for the Johnsen family to share photos and post messages to each other. The site has been secured so only logged-in family members will be able to access the site content, so feel free to post whatever you want!
The name “The Travel Jones” was conceived two years ago when the first version of this site was created with the goal of chronicling my own family’s journeys after leaving SoCal at the close of 2008. I think the title still rings true, though for slightly different reasons. The “jones” to travel still exists but life’s pesky realities keep us more still than we would like. This site then can become a way to travel without leaving, a way to see the family without the plane ticket!
After logging in, you will be directed to your member page where you can post a message, upload a photo to your Album or click on another member in the sidebar to see their photos. I have given each member a starter avatar and uploaded an image into your photo album. You can change your avatar by clicking Profile -> Change Avatar. You can manage your photo album (upload images, edit titles and descriptions, etc.) by clicking Album. If you want to change your password, click the Settings tab.
Currently each member can one have one Album. I hope to add the ability to manage multiple Albums in the near future. In the meantime, I hope you will take advantage of this little site and help make it a place to bring our families closer together.
If you have any questions you can send me an email here andy@thetraveljones.com or send me a message through the Contact page.
